    Mr. Don Jacobs of Sylvania and Ms. Lisa Jacobs of Statesboro announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelcie Lauren Jacobs, to Jordan Dent Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Lindsay Walker of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jacobs Sr. and Ms. Betty Vickers and the late Mr. Sidney Vickers Sr.  Kelcie is a 2010 graduate of Bulloch Academy and a 2014 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in family and consumer sciences with an emphasis in human development and family science. She is currently enrolled at Georgia Regents University and will graduate in 2016 with a master's degree in occupational therapy.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Walker and Elder Emerson Proctor and the late Uldine Shuman Proctor. Jordan graduated in 2008 from Bulloch Academy and he received a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in May 2014. He is employed as a pharmacist with Walker Pharmacy & Gifts, Inc. at the Market District location.
    The couple plans to wed on May 9, 2015, at 6 p.m. at Quinney Oaks Plantation in Millen, with a reception to immediately follow.
