Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Angela Howell of Brooklet, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth Howell, to Shawn Rhyan Berry, son of Willard Anthony Berry of Sylvania, Georgia, and Kimberly McElveen Smith of Brooklet, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Callie Wiggins of Brooklet and the late Samuel and India Howell of Thunderbolt, Georgia.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of L. Eugene McElveen and Ona C. McElveen of Brooklet and Glen R. Walden and the late Glenda G. Walden of Sylvania.
    The couple has planned a fall outdoor wedding on October 29, 2011, at a local plantation, with a reception to follow.
