    Mr. Gary W. Hill and Ms. Dianne Durden Hill of Sylvania, Georgia, are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Ann Hill, to Donald Oswell Sheppard III, son of Don and Candy Sheppard of Sylvania.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Austin M. Hill and the late Jacqueline Mays Hill. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. Dewey Durden and the late Mrs. Marie Smith Durden. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Dean Smith, Lilla Sanders Smith, William L. Durden and Jewell Lawson Durden. Stephanie is a 2007 graduate of Screven County High School and is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Burke Medical Center in Waynesboro, Georgia. She is currently working toward a registered nursing degree.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Donnie and Jeanette Sheppard and the late John and Adah Love Hinson, all of Sylvania. He is a 2001 graduate of Screven County High School and received degrees from Young Harris College, Presbyterian College and Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. Donald is employed as an attorney at the Sylvania law firm of Reddick and Sheppard, P.C.
    The wedding is planned for April 18, 2015, at 5 o'clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Sylvania, with a reception immediately following at Quinney Oaks Plantation in Millen.
    No local invitations will be sent. All friends and family of the couple are invited to attend.
