Diedre Samantha Herdsman of Savannah, Ga., became the bride of Justin Mark Anthony of Statesboro in a private ceremony on December 31, 2009. The couple exchanged vows at Elm Street Church of God in Statesboro, with Pastor Alexander Smith and his wife, Joyce Smith, officiating.
    The bride is a graduate of Crestwood High School in Sumter, S.C. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Francis Marion University and her Master's of Education in School Counseling from Georgia Southern University. She is currently a counselor at Haven Elementary in Savannah.
    The groom is a 2001 graduate of Statesboro High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a minor in Spanish Language and Literature from Georgia Southern University. He is currently employed as a travel agent at Burns World Travel, Ltd. in Statesboro.
    Parents of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Denal Brown of Warner Robins and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy M. Anthony Sr., will be hosting a reception honoring Diedre and Justin on March 27th at 2 p.m. at Gracewood Baptist Church Family Life Center.
    No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
    The couple will be traveling to St. Lucia for their honeymoon after the reception.
