Mr. and Mrs. Michael Charles Haisten of Statesboro, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine McCall Haisten, to Andrew Scott Fitzner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Alexander Fitzner Jr. of Sylvania, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brooks Haisten Sr. of St. Simons Island, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Stout and the late Mr. William Steuer Schwind, all of Orlando, Fla. McCall graduated from Bulloch Academy and received a Bachelor of Science in child and family development from the University of Georgia. She was a member of the Gamma Pi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha. McCall is currently employed by Glynn County Schools and pursuing her Master of Arts in education at Armstrong Atlantic State University.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Alexander Fitzner Sr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wheeler Parker and the late Mr. Gilbert Wheeler Parker, all of Sylvania. Andy graduated from Screven County High School and received a Bachelor of Science in geology from Georgia Southern University. He is currently employed by Antea Group in Brunswick, Ga.
    The couple has planned an April wedding in Savannah, Ga.
