Mr. and Mrs. Ric Gonzalez of Savannah, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Rene Gonzalez, to Michael Ballenger Rollins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rollins of Statesboro, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Butts of Brandon, Mississippi, and Mrs. Marie Gonzalez and Mr. Oscar Gonzalez of Highland, Illinois. Erin graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography/Media Web. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She is owner of Erin Rene Photography.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Cliff McKendree Jr. and the late Mrs. Gladys McKendree of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rollins of Dalton, Ga. Michael is a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is employed with The Christman Company, Augusta, Ga.
    The couple plans to wed on March 10, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Rose Hill Plantation in Bluffton, S.C.
