Mr. and Mrs. Milton P. Godbee Jr. of Millen announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Lynn, to Willie Lewis Gay III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lewis Gay Jr. of Millen.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Smith and the late Arthur Smith of Millen and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Myers and the late Milton P. Godbee Jr. of Millen.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Gwen Thompson and the late Hugh Thompson of Millen and Mrs. Barbara Gay and the late Willie Lewis Gay Sr. of Millen.
    The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 6 o'clock in the evening at Elam Baptist Church, 5199 Elam Road, Millen.
    The reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
    No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives of the bride and groom are invited to attend.
