Mr. and Mrs. John Curry III of Savannah, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina L. Curry of Savannah, Ga., to Griffeth A. Parrish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory W. Parrish Sr.
    Christina earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern in the spring of 2010 and recently graduated from UGA with a master’s degree in art education. She is employed by Springfield Elementary School in Effingham County.
    Griffeth graduated from Georgia Southern in the fall of 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in History and is currently employed by Sweetener Solutions LLC.
    The couple has planned to wed on October 26, 2012, in Savannah.
