Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Cromley of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Cromley, to John Knox Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. Douglas of Augusta, Georgia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rebecca K. Cromley and the late John C. Cromley and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin D. Rushing. Ashley is a 2011 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Armstrong State University in 2016 and will be graduating in May of 2018 with her master’s degree in speech language pathology from Georgia Southern University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Margaret M. Douglas and the late John H. Douglas and Jane G. Knox and the late Ted Smith. John is a 2007 graduate of Aquinas High School. He received a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University in 2011 and is currently employed with Pallet Consultants as a territory manager in Savannah and is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Tanner Realty-The Hunt Group in Statesboro.
The couple has planned to wed on May 12, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. at Statesboro First Baptist Church.
