Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Jeannie Williams of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their son, Mickey Williams, to Courtney Cox, daughter of Thomas Cox of Woodbine, Ga., and Pamela Cox of Kingsland, Ga.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Margie B. Williams of Statesboro and the late Barney Williams and John Parker and Marie of Sylvania, Ga., and the late Leila Brogdon Parker of Metter, Ga. Mickey is a 2008 graduate of Portal High School. He is currently employed with the city of Statesboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Cox of Woodbine, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Conley Lingerfelt of Tennessee. Courtney is a 2009 graduate of Camden County High School and a 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University. She is currently employed with Credit Central as a customer service representative.
The couple plans to wed on April 16, 2016, at
5:30 p.m. at the couple's residence located on Nevils Creek Church Road. The reception will follow immediately afterward at TMT Farms.
