Mr. and Mrs. Randy Colson of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Lynn Colson of Statesboro, to Dustin O. Cross, son of Robert Cross Jr. of Shellman, Ga., and Ms. Terre Cross of Oxford, Mississippi.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Grace Colson and the late Dorsey Colson of Statesboro and Lunita Taylor and the late Ferrell Taylor of Vidalia. She is a 2002 graduate of Bible Baptist Christian Academy in Statesboro and is a 2006 graduate of Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. She is an elementary teacher at Bible Baptist Christian Academy in Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominie Correro of Mississippi and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cross Sr. of Mississippi. He is a 2000 graduate of Statesboro High School and is employed by the City of Statesboro.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 1, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church.
