Ms. Alba Lucia Davila of Gainesville, Georgia, announces the engagement of her daughter, Nathalia Calle, to Kenneth Guy Washington, son of Dr. and Mrs. Sidney R. Washington III of Statesboro, Georgia.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernardo Davila of Colombia, South America. She is a 2008 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Ga., and is currently attending Gainesville State College, planning to transfer to North Georgia College, pursuing a BS degree in Early Childhood Education.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Tallent of Millen, Ga., and the late Mr. Sidney R. Washington Jr. of Atlanta and the late Ms. Ruth Whelchel Washington of Athens, Ga. He is currently employed as a production supervisor at Kipper Tool Company in Gainesville, Ga., and attends Gainesville State College, pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
    The couple plans to marry in Gainesville in August.
