Mr. and Mrs. Michael Robertson of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Brown of Statesboro, to David Thompson, son of Mrs. Ginger Thompson and the late Hugh Dorsey Thompson Jr.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Cletus Bradley of Claxton, Ga., and Roy and Gale Robertson of Hiawassee, Ga. Jennifer is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Ogeechee Technical College.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Charles L. McCord and the late Hilda D. McCord of Midway, Ga. He is also the grandson of Jane Thompson and the late H.D. Thompson Sr. of Glennville, Ga. David is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
    The wedding is planned for June 1st, 2013, at
5 o’clock in the afternoon at Cooper’s Point, Townsend, Ga.
