Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Brown of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Lynn Brown of Statesboro, to Mark Wilson Brown, son of Mrs. Darlene Lucas Buchan of Brooklet and Mr. Mark Brown of Stilson.
        The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Watkins of Adrian, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. James C. Brown of Brooklet and is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Evelyn Williams of Forsyth, Ga., and Mrs. Susie Lee Watkins of Adrian.
        The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Woodcock of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Brown of Stilson.
        The couple has planned to wed on October 9, 2010, at 5 p.m. at the Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church.
