Mr. and Mrs. Keith Boyett of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Candice Elise Boyett, to William Everette Slade, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Slade of Alpharetta. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edra Wrye and the late John Edward Wrye of Macon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kermit Boyett of Metter. Candice is a 2011 graduate of Bulloch Academy and received a BS in early childhood education in 2015 from the University of Georgia.
