Vicki Bowen of Metter announces the engagement of her daughter, Jenny Elizabeth Bowen of Metter, to Warren Stephen Brantley Jr. of Tennille, son of Warren and Julie Brantley Sr.
    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Moses Jackson "Jay" Bowen III of Metter. She is the granddaughter of the late Floyd and Margaret Roberts of Portal and Patsy Bowen of Metter and the late Jack Bowen. A 2002 graduate of David Emanuel Academy, she received a bachelor of science in early childhood education from Georgia Southern University in 2012.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Ann B. Mason of Swainsboro and the late George Donald Mason and Wynelle Brantley and Mary L. Brantley, both of Tennille, and the late Henry S. Brantley. He is a 2001 graduate of Brentwood School and attended Georgia Southern University. He is employed with Oconee River Logging.
    The marriage has been planned for April 6, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at Metter Primitive Baptist Church.
