Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Adams of Forsyth, Georgia, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Carmen Adams of Forsyth, to Mr. Ryan Hynko of Stilson, Georgia. Ryan is the son of Mr. Mark Hynko of Stilson, Ga., and Ms. Lorna Hynko of Statesboro, Ga.
    Carmen is the granddaughter of Elder and Mrs. Parker Sye of Forsyth and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Adams of Forsyth. The future bride is currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program at the University of Georgia.
    Ryan is the grandson of Mrs. Nettie Glisson of Eldora, Ga., and the late Mr. Freddie Glisson, Mrs. Ann Hynko of Stilson and the late Mr. Gerald Hynko. The future groom will graduate from the University of Georgia in May with a degree in Landscape Architecture from the College of Environment & Design.
    The couple's wedding will take place on July 23, 2011, at 3 p.m. at the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church in Barnesville, Georgia, with a reception to follow.
