    Anna Brett Sparks became the bride of Christopher Blane Daniel during a 3 p.m. ceremony held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the St. John’s United Methodist Church in Aiken, S.C. The Rev. George K. Howle officiated.
    Music was provided by Tara Tripp and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cowan Gambrell III. Margaret Miller served as Reader. Program attendants were Britton Barnes and Taylor Carter.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald James and Sandy Sparks Jr. of Aiken, S.C., and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin and Monteen Martin of Ocilla, Ga., and the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Donald James and Helen Sparks of Portal. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Robert Harris Dozier of Keysville, Ga. Anna is a 2004 graduate of South Aiken High School and is a 2008 graduate of Clemson University, where she received a BS in Industrial Engineering.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Blane and Karen Daniel of Amarillo, Texas, and is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Loyd and Genevieve Nobile of Tulia, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. William and JoAnn Daniel of Amarillo, Texas. Christopher is a 2003 graduate of South Aiken High School and is a 2007 graduate of Clemson University, where he received a BS in Chemistry.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Sara Ashley Sparks of Aiken, S.C., as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brecken Paige Hentz of Aiken, S.C., Molly Lynn Blackwell of Moncks Corner, S.C., Angela Marie Gorney of Hartsville, S.C., and Breanna Celisse Daniel of Amarillo, Texas, sister of the groom.
    Robert Adam Daniel of Aiken served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Arnold Kelly of Anderson, S.C., Daniel MacKenzie Campbell Odell Jr. of Aiken, Gary Michael Swingle of Clemson, S.C., and Kenneth Hunter Leary of Anderson, S.C.
    Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the social hall of the church. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cole Jr.
    The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and now resides in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
