Mr. and Mrs. William R. Schafer of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Faith Marie of Statesboro, to Andrew Christopher Gwinnett, son of Lonnie Warden "Nicky" Gwinnett Jr. and Jill Martin Gwinnett.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Schafer. A graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School, she graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with a degree in radiology. She is employed with SouthCoast Imaging Center as a registered radiographer.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Martin. He is a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is employed with Coastal Georgia Exterminating as a professional technician.
The couple has planned to wed on February 17, 2007, at 4 p.m. at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church. The reception will follow at The Beaver House.
