Mr. and Mrs. Bruce and Linda Ritch of Cartersville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina E. Ritch of Jacksonville, Fla., to Carter A. Welch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Nancy Welch.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of A. J. and Valeria Dixon and Talmadge Ritch and the late Jimmy Ritch and is the great-granddaughter of Lillie Dixon. She is a Georgia Southern University alumni.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Jenkins and Mary B. Welch and the late C.A. Welch. He is employed with Quality By Design as a field supervisor for North Florida.
The couple has planned to wed on November 4, 2006.
