The Rev. Dr. Jane Altman Page and Dr. Gregory John Brock announce their engagement to be married.
The Rev. Page is the daughter of Mrs. J.G. Altman and the late Mr. Altman, the mother of Fred Page III and John Page and is the grandmother of J.D and Thomas Page. She retired from Georgia Southern University in 2005 as professor and department chair emerita, Department of Curriculum, Foundations and Reading. Page received her master of divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2006 and was ordained by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Statesboro on September 24, 2006, where she currently serves as their first called minister.
Dr. Brock is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Brock of Columbus, Ohio, and the father of James and Sarah Brock. He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Michigan and received his Ph.D. in 1989 from The Ohio State University. Dr. Brock currently serves as an associate professor in the School of Economic Development at Georgia Southern University and director of the Center for Economic Education, which promotes K-12 Economics education in southeast Georgia.
The ceremony to be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Statesboro will be witnessed by family, friends and the church congregation on August 18, 2007.
