Eva Kathryn Millwood Thomas Candler Wise Fraser
       Mr. and Mrs. Roger Millwood of Greenback, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Eva Kathryn Millwood of Port Elizabeth, N.J., to Thomas Candler Wise Fraser, son of Walter Fraser and Lynn Wolfe of Savannah and Anna Fraser and Doug Goode of Knoxville, Tenn.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack Sr. and Kathryn Hogsed of Commerce, Ga., and the late Virgil Clayton and Eva Lee Phillips Millwood of Cumming, Ga. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Communications and is a graduate student at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. She is employed by the non-profit Bayshore Discovery Project in Bivalve, N.J., which operates New Jersey’s Tall Ship, the A.J. Meerwald.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Louise Wise Fraser of Statesboro, the late John and Mary Smith of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and the late Oscar and Mildred Wolfe of Dublin. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Communications. He is currently the metropolitan editor of The Daily Journal, a Gannett newspaper in Vineland, N.J. His father served as the chairman of the Georgia Southern University Department of History from 1982 to 1996, and he retired in 2001. Wolfe, his stepmother, was the associate dean of the College of Health and Professional Studies from 1993 to 2001.
    The couple will be married Nov. 11 at Ijam’s Nature Center in Knoxville.
