Mrs. Stephen Harris Ragains
    Mary Suzanne Lock and Stephen Harris Ragains were united in marriage on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Decatur First United Methodist Church in Decatur, Ga. The Rev. Dr. David S. Naglee officiated at the 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony.
    Suzanne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Nelson Lock of Atlanta and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hays Pickens of Stone Mountain and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Nelson Lock of Ozark, Ala. Suzanne is a 1998 graduate of the Marist School in Atlanta and graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2002, with a bachelor’s degree in French and Italian. She was president of Kappa Delta Sorority and a member of the Dance Line. She is employed at Pickens, Inc. Jewelers in Atlanta.
    Stephen is the son of Mrs. William Melton Barksdale of Sylvania and the late Harold Harris Ragains of Sikeston, Mo. He is the grandson of Mrs. William Grant Simmons and the late Dr. Simmons of Sylvania and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Doris Ragains of Sikeston, Mo. Stephen graduated in 1988 from Screven County High School in Sylvania and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1993 with a major in Economics. He received a master’s of business administration with an emphasis in finance and accounting from Georgia Tech in 1995. He is a certified public accountant and is employed at Georgia-Pacific in Atlanta.
    Given in marriage by her father, Suzanne chose her sister, Karen Elizabeth Lock of Atlanta, to serve as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Lee Bowling of Decatur, Megan Elizabeth Lawley of Decatur, Dr. Sara Shaw Nicholas of Charleston, S.C., and Amanda Lane Pickens of Atlanta, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Olivia Hopson Ledbetter of Atlanta, cousin of the groom.
    Stephen chose James Albert Vaughan of Avondale Estates to serve as best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Joseph Burdick-Shepherd of Nutley, N.J., Danny Wayne Ledbetter of Atlanta, Walter Hays Pickens III of Atlanta, cousin of the bride; and David Alan Reed of Atlanta, cousin of the groom.
    Molly Mattingly of Nashville, Tenn., was the Reader and the Rev. Laura Putman Rappold of Avondale Estates was the soloist. Greeters were Jennifer Lindsey Jones and Barbara Carol Overend.
    Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Druid Hills Golf Club.
    The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy and now reside in Decatur.
