Mr. and Mrs. Dannie and Marie Lee of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie Lee of Statesboro, to Brian Adam Lane, son of Perry and Sonya Lane.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carl and Shirley Oglesby and the late Nesbit and Irene Lee and is the great-granddaughter of the late Rufus and Mary Ann Oglesby, the late Doc and Eula Miller, the late Alton and Rosie Lee and the late John T. and Deenie Hunnicut. She is a 2004 honor graduate of Statesboro High and will graduate this December from Georgia Southern University with a major in Justice Studies and a minor in Sociology. She is employed at Sinkhole Customs.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Ivey S. Lane, Ralph and Mazie Marsh, Trudy Boyette and Jimmy and Alma Boyette. He is a 2001 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is co-owner of Lane’s Lawn Service, L.L.C.
The couple has planned to wed on May 10, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Smithfield Golf Course.
