Gena Leigh Kennedy Gabriel Clifford Manning
    James E. and Deborah M. Kennedy of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Gena Leigh Kennedy of Savannah, to Gabriel Clifford Manning, also of Savannah. He is the son of Clifford D. and Rachel D. Manning of St. Marys, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eugene and Kathleen B. Mincey of Brooklet and the late Dewitt and Mary H. Kennedy of Statesboro. She is a 1999 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is a member of Alpha Delta Phi Sorority and is employed with JT Turner Construction Co. of Savannah.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Clifford and Theresa Manning of Woodbine and Wayne and Ginny Caldwell of St. Marys and the late Alvin Dickey. He is a 1999 graduate of Camden County High School and is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in logistics and transportation. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and is employed with Fitness Pro of Savannah.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 28, 2007, at 6:30 in the afternoon at First United Methodist Church of Statesboro. The reception will follow at Snella’s Place.
    No local invitations are being sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
