    Jennifer Marie Franklin and Kevin James Burke were united in marriage at half past six in the evening on Saturday, August 18, 2007. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jason Protzman at the First Presbyterian Church of Statesboro.
    Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph William Franklin of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar M. Corson Jr. of Statesboro, Mrs. Ouida Franklin of Brooklet and the late Mr. and Mrs. William D. Franklin.
    Kevin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James William Burke Jr. of Walterboro, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Burke and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson.
    Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless chapel-length gown with cascading embroidery, cinched at the waist with a shirred satin band and a skirt trimmed with bands of satin and embroidery. She also wore a triple-strand pearl necklace from her late grandmother. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of orchids, roses and lilies in shades of cream and pink, accented with a handkerchief that has been carried by four generations of brides.
    Lacey Lanier of Statesboro served as maid of honor. Lisa Koch Brooks of Statesboro and Heidi Koch Smith of Brooklet served as matrons of honor. The attendants wore shrimp-colored empire waist gowns with satin bodices and side-wrapped crepe skirts accented with rhinestone chips and carried bouquets of roses and calla lilies.
    Angelica Collazo of Hilton Head Island, S.C., served as the flower girl and wore a cream, shadow embroidered organza dress.
    Landon Brooks served as ring bearer.
    Patrick Michael Burke of Walterboro, S.C., brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were James William Burke of Walterboro, S.C., father of the groom; and Burke Bishop of Savannah.
    Music was provided by Pamela S. Radford, organist; and Todd Williford, vocalist.
    A reception immediately followed at the Nessmith-Lane Ballroom on the campus of Georgia Southern University. Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and danced to the music of the Outrider band.
    The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas and now make their home in Bluffton, S.C.
