    Sara Hope Counts of Augusta became the bride of William Brian Street of Augusta during a 6 p.m. ceremony held at the First Presbyterian Church in Augusta on Saturday, August 5, 2006. The Rev. George Robertson and the Rev. John Franks officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Counts of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Leonard Hope Bullock of Hendersonville, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. E. Howard Counts of Denver, N.C.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Street of Johnson City, Tenn., and is the grandson of Billie Collier and the late Charles Collier of Linden, N.C., and Edith Street and the late Clyde Street of Johnson City, Tenn.
    Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory A-line gown featuring a modified sweetheart neckline, beaded and embroidered detail at the natural waist with a band and bow accent and scalloped beading and embroidery at the hem edge. She wore her maternal grandmother’s pearl necklace and her ivory tulle veil with a beaded and crystal comb was made by the groom’s mother.
    Matron of honor was Lydia Counts Sweet of Lookout Mountain, Ga., sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Anna Karis Counts of Macon, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Renata Elizabeth Counts and Micah Katrina Counts of Statesboro, both sisters of the bride; Kelly Street Shirley of Nashville, Tenn., and Kristina Street Hatcher of Savannah, both sisters of the groom; Amber Bonham Barrett, Emily Ann Freeman, Holly Rebecca Hill of Augusta, Sharon McCallum Morginsky of Nashville, Deborah Clark Ragland of Buford, Ga., and Rachel Hammock Stovall of Athens, Ga. Katherine Bell Fulcher of Augusta, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. S. Marcus Fulcher, was flower girl.
    Also serving as honorary bridesmaids were Katherine Davis Boone, program attendant; and Nada Hani Mussad of Augusta, cellist; Carol Byrum Skenes, Scripture reader; Sarah Elizabeth Quattlebaum of Evans, Ga., program attendant; Rebecca Anne Kelly Morris, Scripture reader; and Hannah Elizabeth Smith of North Augusta, S.C., guest notes attendant.
    Phil Street served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Edward Hatcher of Savannah, brother-in-law of the groom; Douglas Edward Shirley of Nashville, Tenn.,  brother-in-law of the groom; Nathaniel Oberlin Counts of Statesboro, brother of the bride; John Robert Barrett and Richard Edward Deas of Augusta, John Wesley Crowe of Johnson City, Tenn., Stephen Dumas Hammond of Jackson, Tenn., John Ryan Lister of Louisville, Ky., and Eric Christopher Tollison of Savannah.
    Music was provided by Paul Roberts, Shadwa Mussad and Matthew Morginsky.
    The reception followed at The Old Medical College.
    The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and now resides in Augusta.
