With both parents being field biologists, it isn’t surprising that Trinity Christian Academy’s 2019 valedictorian Christian Scott plans to become one, too. The 17-year-old plans to enroll in the honors program at Georgia Southern University after graduation, achieving a degree in biology with a focus on ornithology. His dream is to publish his findings on exotic species, he said.

The son of Damien and Heather Scott has two sisters: Emmaline, 16 and Mary Elizabeth, 9.

He enjoys cross country sports, track, swimming, biking, backpacking, camping and soccer. He also appreciates poetry and plays the piano, guitar and harmonica.
