I finally get to tell you the fantastic news about our online community. We are getting a new and updated Community site! I was just given access to our test site so that I can go in and play around with it before it goes live. I LOVE it! You will, too!
Probably the greatest improvement is its appearance. The pictures on the Photo Gallery are bigger. The events on the calendar are much easier to see. You will be able to rate the blogs. Also, if you would like, you can receive an e-mail notifying you when you have a new comment to your blog.
Also, creating accounts, posting events to the Calendar, adding photos to the Photo Gallery and blogging will be easier than ever with the new updates. I’ll tell you more as the roll out date approaches.

Truman, the Kidsville mascot, is really looking forward to appearing at a party for a creative teacher in Bulloch County. Teachers, all you have to do is tell us how you use Kidsville News in your classroom in 250 words or less. Bring or mail your entry on your school’s letterhead to Statesboro Herald, P. O.
