Spring arrived on Wednesday, and it is definitely here. I love spring, but my allergies are at their worst this time of year. And from the coughs and sneezes I’ve heard around town, I’m not alone.
I was worried about the spring blooms with the confusing winter weather we had, but they are absolutely gorgeous. The dogwoods are particularly beautiful with their drifts of blossoms that seem to float like clouds in the air. The azaleas are at their peak, also. I keep trying to decide on my favorite color, but I just can’t—I like them all. And so do the bees. Let us see your beautiful yard. Post your pictures on the Photo Gallery. Or, blog us with the most beautiful streets or scenic drives so we can enjoy them, too.

Dining Guide
One of my favorite features on our Web site is the dining guide. Now when we can’t decide where we want to eat, we click on “Where to Eat” to look at menus before we go. More restaurants are coming on board. Soon our site will be upgraded so that restaurants with information online will have their names in bold, making it easy for you to tell who has placed their information online for you.
Right now, the following restaurants online are:
    Applebee’s
     Barberitos
     Chick-fil-A
     Daily Grind
     Daylight Donuts
     Dingus Magee’s
     Domino’s Pizza
     El Sombrero
     Gnat’s Landing
     Longhorn Steakhouse
     McAlister’s Deli
     Moe’s
     Oasis
     RJ’s Seafood & Steaks
     Sonny’s Barbecue
     Vandy’s Barbecue
     Wise Guys

Kidsville & Truman
Truman had a great time at Swing into Spring on Friday evening. He hopes to see you all again really soon. Look for the chance to win a visit to your classroom from Truman in the April Kidsville.
