Mr. and Mrs. Jay French of Grapevine, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexandra French of Denver, Colorado, to Brent Sanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Sroczynski of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. James R. Sanders of Savannah.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William French and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Byrd. Ms. French is a 2008 graduate of Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas, and is a 2012 graduate of Texas Tech University. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Colorado. She is employed as a neonatal intensive nurse.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James R. Sanders Sr. and the late Mary Griffin and the late Gordon Griffin, all of Savannah. Mr. Sanders is a 2008 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2014 graduate of Georgia Southern University. He is employed with Bestop in Boulder, Colorado, as the logistics coordinator.

The couple is planning to wed on Aug. 10, 2019, in Denver.
