Thousands braved intermittent rain last Saturday to attend the 24th annual Brooklet Peanut Festival. The event featured vendors, live music, games and food, along with the ever-popular parade and tractor races. The festival is organized each year by members of the Brooklet Community Development Association and draws visitors from all over the state.
