What started out as a desire of a young family to become foster parents led to the founding of an organization named Fostering Families Bulloch. Chris Yaughn and his wife Kim realized as they began the process of becoming foster parents that there was a great need for supporting existing foster parents and for children already in the fostering system. Chris started small: cookouts for foster parents in his home, outings for foster children to the Kiwanis Fair. One of Chris' major projects has been the creation of a Clothes Closet. Many times children are displaced in the middle of the night due to fires, abuse, domestic violence or other family emergencies. Often these children must leave their homes with only the clothes on their backs. Fostering Families Bulloch is not a government agency and is a not-for-profit organization.
