Tia Bowers became the bride of Joshua McGlamery of Statesboro during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony held on Oct. 21, 2017, at Mossy Oak Farms. William Hitchens III officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Martha Bowers of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of the late Ken and Carol Bowers and the late Al and Carolyn Clayton.
The groom-elect is the son of Kirk and Carol McGlamery of Statesboro and is the grandson of the late Johnny McGlamery and Florence McGlamery and the late Blair and Elaine Hanton.
Given in marriage by her mother, Martha Bowers, the bride chose Candace Hardin as her matron of honor. Amy Perdue served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marissa Stanert, Desiree Glenn, Camry Bowers and Nikki Floyd. Alexis Clayton and Madelyn Glenn served as flower girls.
Kirk McGlamery served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Travarius Robertson, Dale Hardin, Jacob McGlamery, Jordan McGlamery and Robert Floyd. Tristian Robertson served as ring bearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception immediately followed at Mossy Oak Farms.
The couple enjoyed a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon and now resides in Statesboro.
