Dewey and Pat Dekle of Metter will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on March 17, 2007. They were married in Bulloch County by Elder Ralph Riner. They have a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Paula Dekle; and a daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Eric Kirkland; and four grandchildren, Devin Dekle, Paige Hodges, Phillip Dekle and Tyler Kirkland, all of Metter. Dewey is a retired master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service. He also worked for 11 years with the Candler County Sheriff’s Department as a jailer-dispatcher. Pat worked for 16 years with Moore Wallace in Metter. They now enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
