Mr. and Mrs. Carlise Porter celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on March 10. The couple married on March 10, 2001, at Whitesville Full Gospel Church. They have eight children: Annette Kennedy, Bobby Roberson, Brenda Johnson, Aretha Roberson, Bernita White and Carl Porter, all of Statesboro; Jacqueline Vickers of Pearson, Georgia; and Thea Porter of Hinesville; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
