Tyson, a senior defensive lineman, was overcome with emotion during the press conference, as it was announced he was one of just 84 players from across the nation to compete in the football all-star game on Jan. 5 in San Antonio, Texas. “I’m just happy that I’m one of the 84 players,” said Tyson, who has committed to play next year at the University of Georgia. “I’m excited. I’d been wanting to play big offensive lineman to see where I really stand.” The game will be televised at 1 p.m., live on NBC. Tyson was selected by Tom Lemming, Scout.com and SportsLink. - photo by CHAD BISHOP/staff
