Statesboro’s Michael Summers, center, is surrounded by family as he signs a letter of intent to play football at Georgia Tech on Wednesday morning in the Statesboro High auditorium. After starting his career in Statesboro at the middle school level, Summers left for Benedictine Military School before transferring to Statesboro for his final two seasons. Summers made an immediate impact for the Blue Devils.
