After suffering its first loss of the season last week, Screven County bounced back with a vengeance.

The Gamecocks scored on their first five drives of the game and rode a running clock throughout the final two quarters to notch a 41-0 victory Friday night at Harlem.

Jermany Hawkins racked up 209 rushing yards on just 15 carries and scored on runs of 13 and 88 yards. C.J. Wright and Kim Hunter also added touchdown runs and Tyquan Johnson hauled in his sixth touchdown reception on a 49-yard strike from Armani Bunbury. The touchdown pass was Bunbury's 10th on the season.

With the win, Screven County improved to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in Region 3-AA play. Next week the Gamecocks will host East Laurens.
