Bulloch Academy seniors Ashley Burke and Powell Fennell combined for five hits and drove in six runs to lead the Lady Gators to a 12-2 victory over Robert Toombs Christian Academy Thursday. Bulloch (3-1) scored three runs in the first, four in the third, two in the fourth and three in the fifth for the run-rule win in the squad’s home opener. “Ashley and Powell can hit the ball and we need them to do what they did today in every game,” said BA head coach Chandler Dennard.
