    PEMBROKE — Pitchers J.D. Smith, Taylor Burroughs and Eli Page combined to lead Southeast Bulloch High School to a 7-1 victory over Bryan County High School in a baseball game Tuesday.
    SEB's Seth Morgan and Gage Weaver each had two RBIs.
    The Yellow Jackets will play host to Screven County at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Screven Co. baseball defeats Swainsboro
    SYLVANIA — Screven County defeated Swainsboro, 6-4, in a Region 3AA-A baseball game Tuesday.
    Screven (4-8 overall, 2-0 in Region 3AA-A) was led by pitcher Blake Evans, who struck out 11, walked two and allowed four earned runs in seven innings to earn the win.
    Screven's Cameron Martin had two hits and two runs batted in, Evans had a hit and two RBIs, Trenton Owens had a hit and an RBI, and Bailey Pollock had an RBI.
    The Gamecocks will play Southeast Bulloch at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Brooklet.

Westminster boys beat BA at soccer
    Westminster of Augusta defeated Bulloch Academy, 3-0, in a boys soccer game Monday at Bulloch Academy.

Screven Co. girls win, boys lose, against Effingham at tennis
    SPRINGFIELD — Screven County High School's girls tennis team defeated Effingham County, 4-1, on Tuesday.
    Screven (14-1) got wins from Lovey Sheppard, 6-1, 7-6 (3); Mallorie Boswell, 6-0, 6-0; Haley Mock and Jancy Durrence, 6-3, 6-4; and Pam Wooten and Kari Lane, 6-4, 6-7 (1), 6-2.
    Screven County's boys (6-9) lost, 5-0, to Effingham County.
    Screven County's girls and boys will play in the Region 3AA-A tournament today at Mill Creek. Southeast Bulloch and Swainsboro also will play in the tournament.

SEB girls beat Screven Co. at soccer
    SYLVANIA — Southeast Bulloch High School's girls soccer team defeated Screven County, 2-1 in overtime, on Tuesday.
    Screven tied the game at 1 with 11:54 remaining in the first half when Madyson Torres assisted to Lindsay Thomas for a goal.
    SEB (5-3-1 overall, 5-3 region) scored the game-winner at 2:43 in overtime via an own goal by Screven County (8-3, 5-3).
