ALBANY — Zaquavian Smith scored a team-high 29 points as the Statesboro Blue Devils knocked off Early County 84-61 on Saturday at the U-Save-It tournament in Albany. Statesboro closes out the tournament on Monday against North Clayton at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils overcame a 31-27 halftime deficit with a massive third quarter, out-scoring Early County 28-15, and Smith put on a dunking show in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
