AUGUSTA — The Pinewood Christian Academy Competition Cheer Squad reclaimed the GISA Class AAA state title in stiff competition in Augusta on Saturday, November 20, 2010.

The Pinewood squad overcame very tough statewide competition to rise to the number one spot and bring the coveted trophy home. The girls executed an outstanding performance to the standing room only crowd at Augusta Preparatory Day School.
Members of the Pinewood Christian Academy Varsity Cheerleading squad are Kristin Lott, Amber Wasson, Megan Winters, Brittany Brockman, Maggie Buckley, Kaci Callaway, Josie Graham, Anna Johnson, Payton Quinlan, Lindsay Smith, Molly Zechman, Nikki Boyett, Michala Dollar, Faith Greene, Madison Tinsley,Blythe Bland, Meredith Boatright, Molly Bradley, Destiny Durrence, and Hannah Williams. Coach Cathi Willett along with assistants Alan Willett and Amy Tinsley are hoping to keep the winning streak and bring home the FCC National Cheerleading Competition title at the end of December.
