MACON — Cody Lanier, a junior at Bulloch Academy, was the state runner-up in the GISA Class AAA boys’ singles tennis tournament last weekend. Lanier easily won his first two matches on Thursday at the John Drew Smith Tennis Center. He beat Kyle Crew from Southland Academy 6-2, 6-2 then turned around and whipped Sarin Khurana from Stratford Academy 6-0, 6-1 to advance to the Final Four.On Friday, he defeated Christopher Truong from The Heritage School 6-3, 6-0 in the semifinal match.
