Outdoor Life: A white bass excursion
Alvin Richardson
Alvin Richardson
Lots of fishermen in South Georgia are out and about in search of largemouth bass and crappie right now. It just makes sense to go after these two species because of the time of year, the wide variety of places they can be caught and the high quality these two popular fish have when it comes to meal time. If, however, you want to take on a little adventure head up toward Madison, Ga. (about two hours north) and tackle the white bass that are currently on their annual spawning run up the Oconee and Apalachee Rivers.
