Former Georgia Southern football player Leonard Daggett died Friday after succumbing to injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash March 4 in Marietta. Daggett played for GSU from 2001-04 and graduated in 2005.
    The former offensive lineman played for both Paul Johnson and Mike Sewak. He was recruited to GSU by Ivin Jasper and was coached by current offensive coordinator Brent Davis.
    Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory South Dekalb Chapel.
