Elon, N.C. — The Elon Lady Phoenix jumped Georgia Southern in the Southern Conference standings, pulling away in the second half for a 77-61 win Monday at Alumni Gym.
    Kelsey Evans, a 6-foot-2 sophomore forward, led Elon (7-5, 2-2 SoCon) in scoring with 20 points. Guard Ali Ford added 16.
    The Lady Eagles (5-9, 2-3) were led in scoring by Meredyth Frye, who led the game with 24 points. Jamie Navarro added 16.
