It’s hard to get SEB’s James Scott out of position.
That’s because the sophomore Yellow Jacket has started at four different positions so far this season.
And if his team was in a pinch, head coach John Page feels the 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete could man the point, too.
“He probably could play just about every position on the floor, to tell you the truth,” said Page.
As it is, Scott tends to play power forward. He said he enjoys the beating and banging that occurs down low, where “it’s a man’s world.”
That being said, he’s happy to play any of the five spots on the floor.
“I like to do what ever it takes to help my team win,” he explained.
Page said his star sophomore has plenty of physical talent, but his greatest asset has nothing to do with speed or leaping ability.
“It’s primarily just the want to succeed,” noted the coach.
That desire has translated well to the stat sheet, where Scott ranks among the top five in scoring and rebounding.
