LAKELAND, Fla. — Detroit newcomers Joba Chamberlain and Joe Nathan each pitched a scoreless inning Thursday, helping the Tigers beat the Atlanta Braves 5-2. Chamberlain and Nathan were brought in to solidify a Tigers bullpen that struggled through much last season. Chamberlain, the right-hander who floundered with the Yankees in 2013, had a strikeout.
