Even in defeat, Jordan Davis can amaze. Southeast Bulloch’s baseball season came to an end last week via two heartbreaking losses to Dodge County in the Region 3-AA tournament, but the Yellow Jackets’ ace pitcher gave a great performance in his final appearance for SEB. With the first game venturing into extra innings, the senior lefty was called upon to go above and beyond the normal call of a starter and came through with flying colors. Davis pitched 10 innings and struck out 16 before finally being relieved in the Jackets’ 11-inning loss.
